tribute to the Ghost Dance religion that swept through the native
peoples of the North American continent from the middle 1800's to the
early 1900's (and maybe still celebrated in parts today?), and to the
massacre of Wounded Knee. I put in tidbits of the religion's stories and
practices, plus the poem 'We stand young warriors' by the National
Congress of American Indians which reads:
