Mythology again. Well, unless you know something about the (neo?-)Celtic cycle of solar holidays, you will not understand and/or misinterpret this drawing. Lets just say that there are three harvests: grain (August 1), fruit (circa September 21), and meat (October 31). With each harvest 'the god' grows weaker until on the third harvest he dies... This is my vision of how ^_^;;. He gets reborn circa December 21st, don't worry heh (it is a cycle, after all). Since he's the representation of the Sun and the harvest, the god's hair is golden and he has a tan ^^. Wild Hunt in the background. Drawn in marker and pencil. |
