...Day 2: Mission Impossible (Part I)
The time for the first of two Autograph/Photo session was approaching, so we all went to grab the stuff we wanted signed and got in line. The rules said that we could only get one autograph and one picture per person per guest. Hrm, so much for the mountain of DMC merchandise I brought to sign. =/ I decided that my first priority would be to get the Note of Naught signed. It’s the best DMC3 book out there and its blank cover was simply begging to be autographed by two steaming hot voice actors!

The line moved differently depending on whether you wanted something autographed by one of the guests, two, or all three. I was adamant about not having anything signed by Johnny. Don’t get me wrong, he’s a great guy, but I don’t go around getting people’s autographs just ‘cause they’re a great guy. Otherwise I would’ve gotten autographs from Zipp Dementia and Davidicus the cameraman. :P No, the fact remains that Johnny is still Nero, and I want nothing to do with Nero. I went straight for Dan!

“Hi, again! How are you doing?” I asked. He recognized me from this morning and said his day had gone well. I handed him my Note of Naught and he signed it with a silver marker. I truly could not believe where I was... standing right next to the people who breathe life into characters I have worshipped for so long... seeing them, talking to them. It was surreal.

Even though Dan was nothing like Vergil in person, he was amazingly charming, and sweet, and very, very huggable!

Meanwhile, Reuben was making faces behind my back... ^_^;;

CaT didn’t have anything DMC-related for Dan to sign that time, but she gave him her notepad and told him to write whatever he wanted in there. Soo... he wrote the entire Sonnet 18 by Shakespeare. O.o; O.O;; *_*

I saved Reuben for last so that if anything went wrong I would be able to run away. Reuben complimented me on my costume and got down to signing.

Boy oh boy how the hell was I supposed to pull this off?? Jo was nearby, and Reuben was very different from Dan. Dan was always genuinely friendly, silly, and outgoing, but Reuben was a lot more aloof. He was playful and casual with Dan and Johnny, but among people he didn’t know he was calm, modest, and formal. He was pretty much how I’d be if I was ever in his position, so I could relate to that, but it didn’t make him any more approachable. How could I possibly bring up my crazy fangirlish request?

Can I kiss you?... May I kiss you?... It would make me the happiest woman alive if I can get a picture of me kissing you.....

“...Can I hug you?” ^.^;

%@$^#!! Oh well, I still had the Autograph/Photo session on Sunday. ~_~;

You might notice that I look happier hugging Dan than Reuben. That’s because I was. Indeed, I would jump on the chance to glomp Dan but I was terrified of even touching Reuben. More on that later...

I held the Note of Naught aloft for several minutes to let the ink dry and put it safely in a plastic protector, yet Dan’s silver ink somehow still managed to smudge. In fact, it is STILL rubbing off as I write this a week later! AAAAAAHHH!!! VERGIL NOOO!!! ;_; I was crushed and didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t exactly trace over his writing, it would defeat the purpose. I also didn’t want my Note of Naught to have a smudged autograph by Dan. I would definitely have to come again on Sunday and have him re-sign it.
