Although Bleach is also an anime, this is a music video set to the MANGA. I would love to have made it off the anime, but the anime was far behind the manga
at the time and the things going on in the manga were too cool to wait that long to make a video of. For this reason, there may be some SPOILERS for those who only seen the anime, but most of the shots in the video are so remixed and pass by so fast that few would be able to piece together anything that would significantly hinder your enjoyment of the anime. If anything, it is a preview of how awesome the anime is going to get once it reaches those parts, and also a promotion of how great the manga is. I tried my best to give the manga stills the illusion of motion, and I the result is far more convincing than I originally imagined. Hope you enjoy it!
This video begins with a couple of introductory scenes from the anime, but don't worry the music begins just 1 minute 8 seconds into the video. I felt this setup was necessary to introduce Urahara as having a reputation for being badass and then have most of the video be about him doing cutesey things. Oh, and fighting, too, don't worry! Besides my love to Urahara, this video was inspired by the idea of portraying relatively violent scenes to relatively happy music (hence it is set to "Shiny Happy People"). Because that is funny to me.

Lets get this out of the way first, THIS VIDEO CONTAINS ***MAJOR SPOILERS***
This was a collaboration between me and Ashvolt,
and we set a few priorities when we began:
(1) Sephiroth! As much Sephiroth as possible, because he is sadly lacking in other Advent Children videos - especially the final battle. This has driven us insane to the point of breaking down and making our own music video.
(2) The Triplets! Yes, we are talking about Kadaj, Yazoo... and the other guy. =P We made sure to include every instance of Yazoo ducking under and flipping over various objects in dramatic slow-mo.
(3) Vincent and Reno!
(4) No children or females!
(5) Cloud! ...Who is only last because he is everywhere anyways, so we didn't worry about him not getting air time.
Sadly, as the concept for the video developed, Vincent and Reno had to go. *sob, sob* What remains of them is 4 beats of desperate fanservice at the very beginning. It was a hard and painful decision to remove them.
Kadaj, on the other hand, ended up dominating the video, and we have developed a strong liking for him that was not there before we started the music video.
And Cloud, alas... We were so certain he'd get tons of air time without us trying, but by the time we were nearing completion, we realized he had none and tried to fit him everywhere we could. We love you, Cloud!
The concept of the video centers around everything and everyone related to Jenova, those being Sephiroth, Cloud, Kadaj, Yazoo, and that other guy. (Can you tell we don't like Loz? He even got cut out of his own fight scenes.)
It starts with a brief introduction of the back story, including Shinra, Jenova, the asteroid, the lifestream, and Cloud's initial showdown with Sephiroth. Then it moves to introducing the key characters that make Cloud's life hell. We cover every major interaction between the Triplets and Cloud, and have Sephiroth's final battle interspersed throughout the video. In the slow times of the song, we tried to have a plot going of Jenova's pervading influence in the affairs of her children.
CUE RANT: If cutting down a 100-minute movie into 3.5 minutes wasn't bad enough, we had to deal with an extremely uncooperative computer program (Adobe Premiere Pro) that refused to play back our edits in the program itself. We quite literally had to edit the whole thing blind - exporting from time to time to see if the thing made any sort of sense for timing. But now it's finished! Huzzah and hope you like it!
But I suppose I should explain:
1) I find disturbing imagery set to happy music amusing.
2) I think the song actually fits Dante and Vergil's relationship pretty well, and has the bonus of casting yaoi undertones.
3) I LIKE THE SONG, DAMNIT..... there, I admit it!!
For those that think it can't be done, I dare you to watch it!
A short video set to the dramatic last half of
Rhapsody's "Dawn of Victory" song which I think is just beautifully perfect for the final battle between Dante and Vergil in
Devil May Cry

First of all, this is a Lucifer tribute using the MANGA of Angel Sanctuary and therefore contains lots of SPOILERS!!
This video has
been months in the making... Off and on, not continuously, but
still!! After scouring 20 volumes of Angel
Sanctuary manga for every scrap of Kira, Nanatsusaya and
Lucifer pictures I could find, compiling the images, editing out
non-relevant text, finding near-identical images to switch between,
coming up with a concept, I finally got to make the video itself!
Most of it is a slideshow of pretty pictures compounded with a quadruple
layer blitzkrieg of effects.
And
by quadruple layer blitzkrieg of effects I mean... this
is what a normal music video looks like ("VERSUS
- Renji, Zaraki, Byakuya"), and this
is a music video on CRACK ("Lucifer
- In His Head"). Not necessarily better, just very very
painful and mind-boggling...
It's set to one of my favorite songs of all time "In My
Head" by Pale 3
since, well, there's a lot of stuff going on in his head. The song
sounds monotone at first but there is a diversity of subtle rhythms
and beats in it like you wouldn't believe! I figured it fit Lucifer,
especially the lyrics "listen to the mission in my head."
I've
been wanting to do this video for over a year and a half, but I
could never get the video files to work in Adobe Premiere. I
finally realized that I can convert them to compatible WMV's
through Windows Movie Maker. Yay!! So here it is, my long overdue
tribute to Ichigo and the Soul Society story arc - this time using
the anime!

A music video I made to the
song "White Reflection." It is a Japanese song and
some feel it comes off happy, but I think the chorus is very
dramatic. I also wanted to get across a sense of beauty and
purpose. I picked this song because it had enough switches in
rhythm that would allow me to include the scenes that I wanted
and pace the storytelling to my liking. The main chorus is
reserved for the final scenes of the bomb falling into the sun,
and the secondary chorus is for general plot progression. The
climax of the song has a unique musical rhythm dedicated to Capa
confronting the Sun. The words translate
as a love song, and that is what I meant it to be: a love song
to the Sun. A Sun x Capa tribute.
Well,
I've always wanted to make a music video set to the Diva Dance
from Fifth Element ("Lucia di Lammermoor" by Inva
Mula-Tchako), and since Nero's girlfriend is an Opera singer I
though it fitting to dedicate this song to their undying
love......... Just kidding, I hate Nero... a lot. I just figured
the last third of the song works great to show how effortlessly
better Dante is than Nero. It's short but effective. This is also
the first time that I tried to incorporate in-game sounds
(slashes, gunshots, Nero's growling) into the mix. I wish I had
better quality video, and I wish the Lucifer weapon turned out
cooler, but oh well.
