These are
pictures of me in the place I love most in all the world. It is my
greatest goal in life to be there, for that land is my life, my
blood, my destiny, and the only reason I'm here. My most treasured
lifetimes were spent there and I will not let what I started there
go to waste.
These are pictures of me
in another land area sacred to me, the northern Great Plains: South
Dakota, North Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, etc. These include Paha Sapa
(Black Hills), the Badlands, Yellowstone, Wounded Knee, the Little
Big Horn, Grand Tetons, and so on.
These are pictures of me
on Hawaii's Big Island. It's an amazing place where you can walk in
the clouds, see snow, visit an active volcano, snorkel in the ocean,
hike through a jungle, watch a sunset from the top of the world, and
generally go through major climate changes within a half hour's
drive.
I used
to practice the
Chinese martial art of T'ai Chi Chuan, and here are pictures from a
show the Chinatown
Tai Chi Center held in September of 2004. The teacher of my teacher
and president of the Plum
Blossom International Federation, Grandmaster
Doc Fai-Wong, was visiting us for the weekend. Lots of the
pictures came out blurry, but I included three of those because I
thought they had a cool impressionistic effect.
I love Chinese silk clothing and consider it the prettiest clothing in the world, so I have dedicated an entire section to it. Chinese dresses are the only dresses I'm willing to wear for non-costume purposes. I hate dresses ^_^x
While I do eventually
intend to acquire some kind of kimono, for now this section will be
dominated by my ninja outfit from Halloween 2004. It is an authentic
ninjutsu uniform, and though there are pics with katanas, my
official public weapons that year were two Kung Fu fans. Why would a
Japanese ninja use Chinese fans? Don't ask. But hey, if you think
about it, the Japanese stole many things from the Chinese anyway. :P
I love Dante from Devil
May Cry, I love Dante a lot. How much do I love Dante? I worked
day and night on 2-4 hours of sleep for 2 weeks making a costume of
his twin brother Vergil just so I could kiss him.

I've always wanted to cosplay
Griffith from Berserk, but I never knew how. His
trademark outfits are all metal armor, and those that aren't are way too frilly for my tastes. But one day I
remembered one outfit he wore that was neither armor nor
frilly. It was
aristocratic yet
practical, almost pirate-like! He only wore it for two days, but they were the most important
two days of his life: the time that Guts left. To me, this
outfit represents coming to the brink in relationships, where
you must choose to either be controlled by others or gain
control over yourself.
(Note:
outfit is not really that shiny, it's the flash. Check the
"yellow" pics for actual shinyness.)
