With Mr.
Collins in a coma, Eric lost the only person in the company who
trusted and respected him. Mr. Collins' other corporate partners
were growing jealous of the favor he placed in Eric for a while
now, and jumped on the opportunity to essentially demote him.
They elected Wes as the company head in Mr. Collins' absence.
