Libra Cloth Saint of Libra
Libra is the sign of the balancing scale, standing for equanimity and justice. Its Saint likewise reflects a balance of opposites. Not in the split-personality complex of Gemini, but through the harmonious dance of Yin and Yang. The Dragon and the Tiger, standing for serene wisdom and courageous passion, are both Dohko's symbols. Libra's is also the only Gold armor that comes equipped with weapons. Dohko is the Libra Saint of both modern times and the 18th century in Saint Seiya, Lost Canvas, and Next Dimension.

Libra Dohko
Dohko is the last survivor of the 1747
Holy War, a very impressive feat given his
penchant for going bare-chested into battle.
Not that anyone's complaining! He started out
a Bronze Saint, but was promoted to Gold on the
eve of Hades' awakening. Impulsive young Dohko
proved invaluable in securing victory for Athena's
forces. But Athena knew that peace could not last
forever. She extended Dohko's life with the divine
gift of Misopheta-Menos, and charged him with the
task of guarding the sacred seal that locked away		  
 the 108 Specters of Hades. And so Dohko went to go live
on Mount Lu, where he spent his days meditating in the		  
peaks, his eyes fixed firmly on Athena's seal. Even so, he had
time to train his new pupil, Shiryuu, who knew him simply by
the title Roshi (or "Master"). Shiryuu sensed that behind
Roshi's quiet strength was enormous power, but he
was more surprised than anyone to behold his
Master's true identity when Athena's
sacred seal finally broke.


Libra Techniques
Libra Weapons Libra Weapons
Although Athena frowns upon the use of weapons, the Libra armor possesses six pairs of weapons that Dohko shares with other Saints:

1) Shields: have been used by Dohko himself.
2) Tonfa: have been used by Virgo Shaka and Cygnus Hyoga.
3) Nunchaku: have been used by Scorpio Milo and Andromeda Shun.
4) Lances: have been used by Leo Aiolia and Phoenix Ikki.
5) Sansetsukon: were demonstrated by Dragon Shiryuu.
6) Swords: have been used by Aries Mu, Aries Shion, and Dragon Shiryuu.

These weapons can only be used when it's absolutely necessary, as determined by Libra's innate sense of justice.
Misopheta-menos Misopheta-Menos
After Dohko survived the Holy War of the 18th century, Athena blessed him with prolonged life through Misopheta-Menos. It slowed down his metabolism so that instead of his heart beating 100,000 times a day as a normal human heart does, Dohko's only beat 100,000 times a year! The drawback? While under Misopheta-Menos, Dohko is reduced to a wizened old Yoda-type creature. When the army of Hades reared its ugly head again 243 years later, Dohko came back young and strong as ever, because his body only aged 243 days.
Rozan Shou Ryuu Ha Rozan Shou Ryuu Ha
(Mount Lu Rising Dragon Force)
It's significant to note that the constellation of Libra in China falls within the area of the sky symbolized by the Azure Dragon of the East, and so Libra's attacks come in the form of azure dragons. Shou Ryuu Ha focuses his Cosmo into a single dragon that rises up to overwhelm his target. This is also the signature attack of Dohko's student Shiryuu.
Rozan Hyakuryuu Ha Rozan Hyaku Ryuu Ha
(Mount Lu Hundred Dragon Force)
Libra's ultimate attack is unleashing an army of one hundred azure dragons streaming out to devour his opponent. It is a skill on par with Aries' Stardust Revolution, and has even been able to break through Shion's Crystal Wall.
Rozan Ryuu Hi Shou Rozan Ryuu Hi Shou
(Mount Lu Flying Dragon)
Unlike the Shou Ryuu Ha, which summons dragon energy to uppercut an opponent vertically, the Ryuu Hi Shou dragon energy lunges at its target horizontally.
Rozan Kou Ryuu Ha Rozan Kou Ryuu Ha
(Mount Lu Last Dragon)
This is basically a suicidal attack, embodied in a dragon energy which sends Libra flying higher and higher through the planet's atmosphere and ultimately blasting through it into space. He can, however, drag someone else along for the ride to suffer the same fate.
Summon Rain Summon Rain*
By recalling the gentle waters of Mount Lu, Libra was able to summon rain, thereby countering the dehydrating heat of Bennu Kagaho's Rising Darkness.
Group Techniques
Supernova Sunlight*
The Zodiac constellations have long bathed in the light of the Sun, and the Gold armors that represent them have absorbed an infinite amount of sunlight. To perform this incredible blast of energy, all the Gold Saints focus their Cosmo into the tip of Sagittarius' arrow, thereby fusing their powers as one.		 Supernova
This attack was used to break through the Wailing Wall by bringing the full intensity of a star into the darkest depths of Hell. Although it is said that Athena Exclamation has the force of the Big Bang, Supernova is undoubtedly more powerful, since it utilizes the combined strength of twelve Gold Saints instead of three. It instantly disintegrates everything in its vicinity, including those who cast it, and sends waves of devastation rippling outwards.
